Welcome to Casa 8 at Quinta da Victória – a spacious luxury accommodation with sea views in Viana do Castelo. Spread across 340 m² of interior space and a 55 m² terrace, this home is designed for comfort and style. With five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a private whirlpool, it's ideal for large families or groups. Enjoy access to the pool, barbecue area, and our on-site bike rental. The beach is just 10 minutes away.

The space

Casa 8 spans two floors and offers high-end comfort throughout. It features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a bright living room with an open gallery ceiling. The large terrace with sea views is perfect for morning coffee or relaxed evenings. A whirlpool and a fireplace add to the luxurious ambiance, and a billiard table invites you to unwind and have fun. A built-in Sonos system provides music throughout the entire house.
The house is part of a gated estate with eight total units that share the garden and pool.

The neighbourhood

Quinta da Victória is located in a quiet residential area of Viana do Castelo, just a short walk from the sea and 100 meters from the Camino de Santiago. The vibrant city center is only 5 minutes away by car and offers a variety of restaurants, cafés, and shops. The location combines peaceful surroundings with easy access to cultural sites, beaches, and hiking trails.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas

Pets

Pets allowed only with prior approval

€11 per night per pet

Maximum of two dogs per unit

Dogs must be kept on a leash on the property and are not allowed on sofas or beds

Quiet Hours

Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM

Music and TV are permitted – if loud, please keep windows and doors closed

Visitors

Visitors are allowed but may not stay overnight

Please keep the number of visitors reasonable

Waste Separation

Waste separation is mandatory in Portugal (paper, plastic, glass, general waste)

Containers are located in the room to the left of the main gate

The access code is the same as for your house

Air Conditioning & Energy

Keep windows and doors closed when the AC is running

Turn off the AC when leaving the house

The entire estate runs on 100% green electricity

Fireplace

The fireplace can be used with suitable firewood only

Firewood (10 kg bag for €6) is available on-site

Towels

White bathroom towels must not be used at the pool or beach

Beach towels are available:
– €5 per towel/week (rental)
– €15 per towel (purchase)

Laundry & Cleaning

Final cleaning is included

Weekly cleaning for longer stays

Mid-stay cleaning available upon request (for a fee)

Each unit has a vacuum cleaner

Washing machine available in the shared laundry room

Laundry may be hung in your house, on the terrace, or in the laundry room

No dryer available

Outdoor Areas

Pool, garden, barbecue, and lounge with foosball are available to all guests

Barbecue area must be reserved via QR code on-site

Barbecue tools provided – charcoal must be brought (available in our shop)

Laundry Hanging

Laundry must only be hung in your house, on your terrace, or in the laundry room

Hanging clothes in shared spaces or reserving sun loungers is not permitted

We reserve the right to remove such items

Damage

Please report any damage or loss on-site so we can arrange a replacement

Guests are liable for major damages

We reserve the right to charge for damaged inventory or heavily soiled linens/towels

Safety

Every house is equipped with a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, and first aid kit

Emergency number in Portugal: 112

If you use safety equipment, please inform us so we can replace it

Guest access

You’ll have full access to your private home as well as all shared areas:
Garden, pool, barbecue, lounge, laundry room, and bike rental.

I’m always reachable in case of emergencies and often on-site to ensure your stay is as smooth as possible. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns!

Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM.
Free street parking is available nearby. Please note that on-site parking is reserved exclusively for guests with disabilities and must be requested in advance.

Quinta da Victória is just 100 meters from the Camino de Santiago and within walking distance of the sea—perfect for exploring the surrounding nature.

A baby crib is available on request (€12/week, limited availability).
Pets are welcome for a fee of €11 per night and must be registered in advance.

Tivemos uma experiência extremamente agradável. Espaço super acolhedor, com bastantes áreas de lazer. Muito bem equipado com tudo o que se pode precisar para uma estadia mais longa. Pensávamos que se tratava de uma casa individual (sem dividir paredes com casas vizinhas), no entanto a casa está encostada a outras duas em ambos os lados. Posto isto, existe um horário de silêncio a partir das 22h (que não vinha nas regras da casa), a que a família facilmente adaptou as suas atividades. O Ricardo foi extremamente agradável e simpático, acolhendo no necessário. Adorámos o espaço para churrascos, a piscina e a mini sala de lazer com grande diversidade de jogos para toda a família. Recomendo muito para famílias.
