Casa 2 is a peaceful retreat at Quinta da Victória – a spacious two-level maisonette filled with light, calm and character. Spread over two floors, the house blends historic elements with modern comfort. Natural stone, terracotta floors and clean lines create a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for couples, small families or longer stays, Casa 2 offers space and privacy within a quiet, spacious property with garden and pool, just steps from the Camino de Santiago and close to the sea.

The space

Casa 2 is arranged over two levels and combines openness with comfort and tranquillity.

On the ground floor you’ll find a generous living and dining area with a fully equipped open kitchen. Exposed stone walls and warm terracotta tiles give the space its distinctive character, while modern furnishings create a comfortable setting for cooking, dining or relaxing together. A fireplace adds to the cosy atmosphere, especially on cooler evenings.

A comfortable sofa bed is also located on the ground floor and is easily accessible, making it suitable for additional guests.

Upstairs is designed as a quiet retreat, with a spacious bedroom offering plenty of storage and room to unwind. The open gallery enhances the sense of space while maintaining privacy and calm.

A modern bathroom with shower completes the house.
Gigabit Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, Sonos and air conditioning ensure comfort throughout the year.

Casa 2 is part of a gated property with a total of nine houses. Garden, pool and barbecue area are shared, with ample space and privacy for all guests.

The neighbourhood

Quinta da Victória is located in a quiet residential area of Viana do Castelo. The sea is within walking distance, and the Camino de Santiago runs just about 100 metres away.

The historic city centre, with its restaurants, cafés and small shops, is only a few minutes away by car. At the same time, you’re quickly surrounded by nature – ideal for walks, cycling or coastal excursions.

House rules

Check-in / Check-out
Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM.
Flexible arrival and departure times available upon request.

Smoking
Strictly prohibited in all indoor areas.

Pets
Allowed with prior notice (€11/night).
Maximum of two dogs per unit.
Dogs must be leashed on the property and are not allowed on sofas or beds.

Quiet Hours
From 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
If using loud music or TV, keep windows and doors closed.

Visitors
Visitors are allowed but may not stay overnight.
Please keep visits moderate.

Waste Separation
Waste must be separated (paper, plastic, glass, general).
Bins are located in the room left of the main gate.
Access code is the same as for your house.

Air Conditioning & Energy
Keep windows and doors closed when AC is on.
Turn off the AC when leaving the house.
The complex is powered by 100% green electricity.

Fireplace / Wood Stove
May only be used with suitable firewood.
10 kg sacks available for €6 on request.

Towels
White towels must not be used at the pool or beach.
Beach towels available:
– €5 per week (rental)
– €15 one-time (purchase)

Laundry & Cleaning
Final cleaning is included.
Weekly cleaning for longer stays.
Mid-stay cleaning available upon request and for a fee.
A vacuum cleaner is provided in each house.
Shared laundry room with washing machine (no dryer).
Laundry may be dried in the house, on the terrace, or in the laundry room.

Outdoor Areas
The garden, pool, BBQ area, and lounge with foosball table are open to all guests.
BBQ area must be reserved using the QR code on-site.
BBQ tools provided – charcoal not included (available in the shop).

Sofabeds & Bed Linen
Some houses include sofa beds available for a fee.
Extra bed linen or towels available on request.

Laundry Drying
Laundry may only be dried in the house, on the private terrace, or in the laundry room.
Drying in shared areas or reserving sun loungers is not allowed.
We reserve the right to remove such items.

Damages
Please report any damage or loss immediately on-site so we can replace items promptly.
Guests are liable for major damages.
We reserve the right to charge for damaged inventory or heavily soiled linen/towels.

Safety
Each house includes a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, and first aid kit.
Emergency number in Portugal: 112
If safety equipment is used, please notify us so we can replace it.

Guest access

You’ll have access to your private home as well as shared areas: the pool, garden, BBQ area, laundry room, and lounge with foosball table.

Interaction with guests

I am your host and personally reachable. I am often nearby or on site. I value your privacy, but I am always available if you have any questions or need assistance.

Other things to note

Check-in from 3:00 pm, check-out by 11:00 am.
Free parking available along the street or nearby side roads.
The limited parking spaces inside the courtyard are reserved exclusively for guests with reduced mobility and must be requested in advance.
Baby cot available on request (12 € per week, limited availability).
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement (11 € per night).
Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
